| Lexcel |
| Lexcel is a prestigious quality mark
awarded by the Law Society following independent assessment.
It is an award which is specifically designed for the
legal profession and is only awarded to legal firms who
can demonstrate good management and customer care. |
| On accreditation of this quality mark each firm must then be re-assessed on an annual basis for the following three years after which, the firm has to re-apply and undergo a full re-assessment of the standard. |
| The Dental Law Partnership was initially accredited with Lexcel in December 2002 and for the following three years successfully achieved full compliance in each annual assessment covering the six main standards: management structure, services and forward planning, financial management, office administration, managing people and case management. |
| The Dental Law Partnership undertook a full re-assessment of Lexcel in December 2005 and gained 100% compliance following an independent assessment. A Lexcel spokesperson commented that 'it was very unusual for a practice not to have any non-compliances at all raised at assessment and therefore to achieve 100% compliance is an outstanding result which can be credited to the professionalism of the whole team". |
| Achieving this prestigious award highlights our commitment to our clients and our aim to provide the best possible service. This accreditation reassures clients that they will receive a first class professional client-focused service from the Dental Law Partnership while at the same time demonstrating our commitment to providing the highest quality access to justice for the dental patient in England and Wales today. |
| Investors In People |
| The Dental Law Partnership was awarded
with Investors in People (IIP) in March 2004 following
an assessment by an independent body. IIP is the national
standard which sets out a level of good practice for
training and development of people to achieve business
goals. |
| When being assessed for IIP one of the
areas we had to demonstrate was that we understood the
impact of our investment in people on our performance
and to show that we are fully committed to developing
our staff in order to achieve our aims and objectives |
| In achieving IIP it has been recognised
that the Partnership is an organisation which places
a high value on staff and which recognises that the staff
play an extremely important role. We are fully committed
to our workers and ensure that our staff receive the
training they require to carry out their duties effectively
and to a high standard. We have proved that our staff
have the right knowledge, skills and motivation to help
our clients. |
