 Vivienne qualified as a dentist from Cardiff Dental School in 1981. Since then she has worked as a dentist for 16 years in the Community Dental Service, NHS Practice and for a major oil company in the London area providing dental care for their staff. |
| Vivienne also obtained her PGCE in teaching from Roehampton University in 1999 and spent some time teaching primary school children before returning to the dental field. |
