The British Dental Association (BDA) is the largest professional body for dentists in the UK with approximately 20,000 members.  The BDA acts as both a trade union and professional association for dentists and exists to help, advise and represent its dental members.  Membership is open to all registered dentists as well as UK dental students and overseas dentists can obtain associate membership.  The BDA does not offer advice to dental patients.
