Kalpa has previously worked in general practice for the last 20 years. She has also been a trainer and principal dentist in her own dental practice and has enjoyed the challenges.

Kalpa has 2 teenage children and likes nothing better than spending time walking her mad Jack Russell and following cricket test matches.
