Margaret joined The Dental Law Partnership as a legal secretary in July 2001 after working for a small firm of insurance brokers and financial advisers.

After leaving school at 16 she went to college for a year to do a secretarial course. Margaret then worked for several companies including a large firm of solicitors in Glasgow where she worked as a secretary to one of the partners. After getting married and re-locating she worked for several years at the Nationwide Building Society in Swindon as an audio typist and customer adviser.
